According to the draft, the province will welcome guests at the end of the year when allowed by the Government in the Bai Dai area, giving priority to beach resorts and self-contained services.

Accordingly, visitors to Khanh Hoa must have a certificate of full dose of Covid-19 vaccine issued by competent authorities. The last dose is given for at least 14 days, not more than 12 months from the time of entry.

Previously, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee had agreed in writing on the policy of building a pilot plan to welcome international tourists with vaccine passports, proposed by the Department of Tourism.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Tourism to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the Department of Health and Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association in, developing a detailed pilot plan; report to the Provincial People's Committee or request competent agencies to consider and decide on implementation.
As reported by the Department of Tourism, estimated first 6 months of 2021, the province welcomed more than 457,000 visitors stay, down 38.5% compared to the same period last year and only 9.1% plan 2021.
In there, international visitors reached 18,800 arrivals, down nearly 95.5%; Domestic visitors reached 438,300 arrivals, up 34.4% over the same period. Currently, the province only has about 400 out of 1,147 tourist accommodation business establishments and 80 out of 141 tourism businesses operating, including 69 international travel businesses and 11 domestic travel businesses.
